Does that mean other people can modify my account?

What does it look like?

Your AOL Instant Messenger status updates appear right on your FriendFeed account, just like the other items you've shared. The comment shown is automatically added to show which screenname this update came from.

I've signed up with 16characters. Why don't I see any updates on FriendFeed from you?

There are a few reasons this could be the case. 16characters updates FriendFeed when you have a new status update. Check the following:

• Your FriendFeed nickname and Remote key are correct
• Your AOL Instant Messenger settings do not restrict who can see you online
• You have set your AOL Instant Messenger status to "away" at least once

What does the name 16characters mean?

On the AOL Instant Messenger network, the maximum numbers of characters allowed in screennames is sixteen (16). Just enter those characters, and we'll do the rest.
